Q: Is The Academy just designed for practicing professionals?
A: Actually, The Academy provides instruction to individuals seeking entry into the field of investigation (High School Senior Course of Instruction and Core Course of Instruction) as well as practicing professionals through advanced courses and seminars. Seminars are additionally offered to parents and grandparents as well as educators regarding child protection and Internet child safety.

Q: How frequently does The Academy conduct each course and each seminar?
A: The Academy unit sets its training schedule based upon Student and Attendee demand. A maximum of 25 Students or 25 Attendees are enrolled in each course and in each seminar to maximize the training experience. Each course and seminar must be offered by each Academy unit on a quarterly basis, at a minimum. Many courses and most seminars are designed to be offered on a more frequent basis.

Q: When are courses and seminars offered at The Academy?
A: The Academy conducts courses and seminars weekdays, evenings, and weekends to accommodate the schedules of Students and Attendees. Schedules for each local Academy unit are posted by the unit on its individual website. Each Academy unit posts their extended specific schedule on their own Academy website.

Q: How do Students and Attendees enroll?
A: Students and Attendees go to the website link for The Academy unit closest to them and follow their instructions.

Q: Who are The Academy's Students and Seminar Attendees?
A: Private Investigators, Loss Prevention Professionals, Security Agents, Law Enforcement Officers and Agents, investigators, Human Resources Professionals, expert witnesses, business owners, business executives, managers and supervisors, management trainees, staff, attorneys, and educators, parents and grandparents. This is a very wide range of Students and Seminar Attendees.

Q: How long is the Franchisee selection process at The Academy?
A: The Franchisee selection process is typically of a one-month duration and is a thorough examination of the interests and qualifications of the Candidate by the Franchisor coupled with a thorough examination of the Franchise by the Candidate and the Candidate's advisors.

Q: What is "Discovery Day?"
A: Discovery Day is the day selected by the Franchisor to meet with the Candidate, at which time personal meetings occur between the Franchisor's staff and the Candidate. The Franchisor reviews the franchise in detail, including materials, and the Candidate relates plans to own and operate Academy units within the desired exclusive territory(s). It is also known as "Decision Day" when the Franchisor and Candidate decide whether each is a proper fit for the other.

Q: How many franchised Academy units are planned across the USA?
A: The Academy plans to have over 200 individual Academy units in operation across the USA.

Q: Will The Academy consider other counties for franchised territories?
A: Yes! The Academy will consider other counties for franchised territories with a strong recommendation from a Candidate, Regional Developer, or Franchisee.
